I will first introduce the vast landscape of quantum phases of matter that have been theoretically studied, and then discuss how moire materials are great platforms to explore the landscape of different quantum phases. Next, I will discuss the notion of quantum anomaly, which determines the landscape of quantum phases of matter in specific quantum materials.
